Seminar marks Vietnam-Australia diplomatic ties

The Vietnamese Consulate in Perth, Australia and Curtin University on July 18 hosted a seminar to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.The event attracted renowned Australian politicians and researchers, representatives of Vietnamese and Australian agencies and Vietnamese students in Australia.In his speech at the seminar, Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Hoang Vinh Thanh reviewed important milestones in relations between the two nations affirming that the bilateral relationship is growing steadily from politics, security and economics to people-to-people diplomacy. He expressed confidence that the Vietnam-Australia strategic partnership will be further strengthened with greater success.During the seminar, participants heard speeches on the Vietnam-Australia relationship over the past 40 years as well as development prospects.VOV
