Seminar on “growing vegetables by hydroponic method” opens

A seminar on “growing vegetables by hydroponic method” held by the provincial department of Science and Technology took place at the provincial Center for Technology and Science Application on Sept. 24. Tran Dinh Hop, the center vice director stressed that the seminar is a good chance to build simple and effective vegetable-growing models for the province.

At the seminar, delegates discussed and exchanged productive experiences and pointed out advantages of growing vegetables by hydroponic method without soil and watering.

However, the hydroponic method can only grow short-time plants and has high costs and so on. The event is to help farmers access safety vegetable growing technology and apply the technique into potential market.
