Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong donates funds to support the construction of houses of gratitude and great solidarity

On May 14, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense; and the Ministry of National Defense’s delegation donated funds to build houses of gratitude and great solidarity in Dau Tieng district. Also attending were Major General Dang Van Lam, Deputy Commander of Military Region 7; Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong gave funds to build 5 gratitude houses and 20 solidarity houses for disadvantaged policy families in Dau Tieng district. The total cost of construction is 1.4 billion VND.

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong emphasized that providing financial support to build gratitude houses and great solidarity houses in Dau Tieng district is the affection and responsibility, demonstration of the qualities of "Uncle Ho’s soldiers" in the entire army to families who have contributed to the revolution. He also asked the Party Committee, local authorities, Military Region 7, and the Provincial Military Command continue to take care of the material and spiritual life of the people, especially policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged families.

On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong and the delegation presented 100 gifts to policy families and families having difficult circumstances in Dau Tieng district.
