A delegation of Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union with more than 60 members will arrive in Binh Phuoc province’s Loc Ninh district today, December 21 to further implement a cooperation program between the Youth Unions of Tan Uyen and Loc Ninh districts with many significant activities for the sake of the community, creating a chance for Youth Union officials of the two localities to exchange and share mutual experience in Youth Union task…

Achievements done

After three years of implementing the cooperation program between the Youth Unions of Tan Uyen and Loc Ninh districts, many practical activities for the sake of the community were organized. The two units also exchanged and shared mutual experience to enhance the effectiveness of Youth Union task.

In 2009, the Youth Union of Tan Uyen was twinned with the Youth Union of Loc Ninh district via an exchange program with many significant activities: art performance and sports exchange; visit to the border marker between Vietnam-Cambodia, Ta Thiet revolutionary base, Loc Ninh’s museum…

In a bid to express the spiritual of “mutual affective and mutual love” of Tan Uyen’s youth to needy people in Loc Ninh, the Youth Federation of Tan Uyen in 2010 presented a house of compassion worth VND20mln to a youngster in need of housing in Loc Ninh. Following the youth work, the Youth Union of Tan Uyen in the 2011 and 2012 period  continued coordinating with the Youth Union of Loc Ninh to organize a lot of cultural-sports activities to mark the founding day of the Youth Union’s (March 26), the traditional day of Vietnamese Youth Federation (October 15) with the participation of a large number of Youth Union members of the two units.

The Youth Unions of Tan Uyen and Loc Ninh district also regularly exchanged and shared mutual experience at review conferences, anniversaries, Youth Union’s congresses …during the period, contributing to improving the effectiveness of Youth Union task.

Solidarity for development together

In 2013, the Youth Union of Tan Uyen district visited and presented 10 gifts worth VND500,000 each to Vietnamese heroic mothers, policy beneficiary families; donated 75 gifts worth VND100,000 each to poor children in Loc Ninh district.

Nearly 200 Youth Union officials of the two districts also took part in a cultural and sports exchange; shared mutual experience in Youth Union task for better results. The Youth Unions of the two districts also implemented a cooperation program in the 2013 and 2017 period in order to further uphold the spirit of solidarity for development together among youngsters.

Mai Que Anh, Deputy Secretary of Loc Ninh district’s Youth Union said that the above exchange activities have created advantages for the development of the local Youth Union. Loc Ninh is a border district of Binh Phuoc province, so they have contributed to speeding up the sentimental activities to the border area. They have also helped the local Youth Union study and apply many good models.

According to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union, the Youth Unions of Tan Uyen and Loc Ninh will continue jointly organizing many activities that are practical and in line with features of the two units.

After four years of implementing exchange activities, the Youth Unions of Tan Uyen and Loc Ninh districts shared mutual experience, contributing to improving the effectiveness of their Youth Union task. This also helped the Youth Unions of the two districts excellently complete their Youth Union task, children and teenagers’ movements over the past time.
