Sharing love with those in need

Under the direction of provincial Women's Union Standing Committee on the implementation of the program "Millions of gifts to share love" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, over the past few days, most Women’s Union branches  in Thuan An city have implemented the program and achieved good results.

Specifically, the Women's Union of Binh Hoa Ward mobilized donors to give 120 gifts to members and families with difficult circumstances in Binh Duc 2 quarter, with a total amount of VND 47 million. The Women's Union branches of An Thanh ward cooked more than 4,000 meals, offered 153 gifts, including rice, instant noodles, sugar, cooking oil..., to the local needy women and people with  a total value of VND95 million.

The Women's Unions of An Phu, Thuan Giao and Vinh Phu wards unexpectedly presented 10 gifts, coordinated with Thuan An Medic Hospital to provide free medical check-ups for 45 disadvantaged women, launched Huong Sen charity kitchen... with a total value of nearly VND 70 million.
