Sharing with people in the middle land of Vietnam

Social charity unit of Binh Duong Province consisting of representatives of Party Committee, Provincial Youth’s League, Provincial Association of Youths, and Provincial Association of Young Entrepreneurs just had a gifting visit to people in two provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri after recent flood and typhoon hits. The delegation presents gifts to Quang Trach Commune Preschool in Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province after the two typhoons Under plan, the delegation would move from Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to Hue before travelling to Quang Tri and Quang Binh. The Wutip and Nari typhoons left behind tragic scenes of blocked residential areas, destructed trees and houses, and the possible landing of Haiyan. The 13-people delegation was bringing with them all the love and caring for local people. Within 1 month, donation has reached over VND 70 million from Youth’s League members and youths from units, enterprises, organizations, from individuals and families across the province. The Association of Young Entrepreneurs donated VND 120 million and 500 relief jackets to people in the middle land. Gifts have been handed to the most needed across localities of Thong Nhat and Tien Phong Preschools in Van Trach Commune of Bo Trach District in Quang Binh Province, Vinh Tu Commune of Vinh Linh District and Vinh Truong Commune of Gio Linh District in Quan Tri Province. At each locality, representatives of the delegation have gifted all 500 jackets and 400 gift packages consisting of daily necessities and cash. Moved by the act of charity, Mrs. Hoang Thi Xung, Principal of Thong Nhat Preschool said: “Those are the temporary classrooms of the school. At this time, we have 4 classrooms and 303 students. The facilities have been destructed after the storms. We really appreciate the support and thank you for your care and sharing.” In fact, to see the small houses lingering in the storms was to feel for the bearing and strong spirit of local people in the land strip of winds and heating sun. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong, a member of the delegation said that the trip was sentimental to her, especially for people sufferring from the natural disaster. She and other members of the delegation promised to themselves of upcoming charity trips to those in need. In the sideline of the charity trip, the delegation visited the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Vung Chua of Yen island in Quang Dong Commune of Quang Trach District in Quang Binh Province. On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Do Ngoc Huy, Deputy Head of Mass Mobilization board of Provincial Party Committee offered incense in a minute of solemn remembering a general. Bidding farewell to the middle land, the delegation was impressed by the passionate waves. The images of green buds of flamboyants along the roads were promising regain.
