Shift to green and sustainable development

After a long journey of developing industrial zones and clusters to serve the needs of attracting investment and promoting industrial production across industries and fields, many industrial zones and clusters throughout the country as well as in Binh Duong expose inadequacies of the environment, infrastructure that need to be paid attention to. That requirement not only comes from reality, but it is also a requirement for green and sustainable development.

Eco-industrial park is a new model, with clearly defined geographical boundaries, no inhabitant living, gathering manufacturing and service businesses, forming a "community" towards a environmental protection goals. Grasping that inevitable trend, over the years, Binh Duong has rapidly changed direction, building green industrial zones and clusters, models, synchronous infrastructure, continuous and connected traffic, with enough green areas, focus on environmental protection.

VSIP 3 - the industrial park under construction in Binh Duong clearly shows the pioneering direction of green and sustainable development, solving a series of problems to ensure environmental protection. The infrastructure of this industrial park is synchronous and modern, of course. Along with that is to attract green, high-tech, less labor-intensive projects with little risk of adverse impacts on the environment. The industrial park, as well as investment projects here, will use green, clean, high-tech, smart energy with great added value.

Along with VSIP 3, Binh Duong recently approved a domestic corporation and a Korean partner to build a carbon-neutral industrial cluster with many green criteria in Tam Lap commune, Phu Giao district. Binh Duong is also making great efforts to accelerate the construction of a science and technology industrial park in Bau Bang district towards a green economy, sustainable development, and enhancement of production value.

Since 2016, Binh Duong has implemented the Smart City Project, which is also catching up with the new trend of the world. With this project, Binh Duong has been moving towards a knowledge economy, circular economy, rich in innovation in many fields. All industries and fields of activity aim to be smart, sustainable, strongly apply digital technology, focus on building and protecting a green, clean and safe environment.

Smart urban development, construction of eco-industrial parks and clusters, green production and business environment, safe living environment of people cannot be achieved early, but it is inevitable and a goal that must be attained with the highest efforts for sustainable socio-economic development.
