Shining the portrait of Uncle Ho's soldiers

In the past few days, when knowing information about the army delegations supporting Binh Duong in Covid-19 prevention and control, the local mass organizations and authorities, especially people were all very happy. The story of "the soldiers returning to the village" suddenly came to life, spreading throughout quarters, hamlets, in each household. “Have the soldiers come back yet?”, “The soldiers come home”, “the soldiers help the people”, “the soldiers go to the market”… were familiar sayings or “keywords” filled with the sentiments of “the army and the people are like fish with water” in very fast attachment.

In the hot situation of the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, when people's health and lives are threatened, when people's lives face many difficulties, due to the implementation of social distancing, soldiers of Uncle Ho have promptly appeared with the spirit: "Helping the people is a function, a political task, a command of the hearts of soldiers". The dear image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, which have been ingrained in the people's subconscious, now becomes bright. With the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", "helping the people is the heart's command", over the past days, the army delegations mobilized by the Ministry of Defense, the 4th Army Corps and the province’s armed forces upheld the fine traditional virtues of Uncle Ho's soldiers, regardless of rain or shine to have harmonious coordination with the local forces in Covid-19 prevention and control. Discipline, military style, aggressive fighting spirit on the front lines were highly upheld by Uncle Ho’s soldiers. For the sake of the people to forget themselves, for the people to serve, they carried out many tasks from tracing, taking samples for testing, administering vaccines to treatment, organizing concentrated isolation, being on duty at checkpoints, opportunely transporting food and foodstuffs to the people, going to the market to buy goods for each household...

The images of soldiers soaking in the rain, standing at checkpoints in hot conditions, transporting necessities, or knocking from door to door in order to graciously hand out support packages... have really touched the hearts of the whole society. These are completely new jobs compared to their tasks, ready to fight every day, but they have completed excellently with the style of revolutionary soldiers. All their words to actions are loved and admired by the people.

From the people, fighting for the people, Uncle Ho's soldiers on the front line against Covid-19 today have continued closely following the glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army. With the spirit of "no win, no return", cadres and soldiers together with the local whole political system are united, determined to control, repel, fight and win against Covid-19, bringing a peaceful and happy life to the people.
