Significance from journey following Uncle Ho’s footsteps

Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has instructed 100% of Youth Union branches to organize a journey on “Youths in Binh Duong remembering the testament following Uncle Ho’s footsteps” to mark the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament. So far, the journey has contributed to making education of the tradition, patriotism and revolutionary ideology among the local Youth Union members.

To celebrate the 88^th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2019), Phu Giao district has held a journey on “Youths in Phu Giao remembering the testament following Uncle Ho’s footsteps” and a festival for Youth Union members in 2019 at Cu Chi tunnel in HCM city. Particularly, a delegation of leaders of the district’s Party Committee, People’s Council, Youth Union officials and members offered incense to commemorate martyrs, heroes who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification; visited some points in the relic site closely connecting with the struggling history of Cu Chi’s people and army; watched a documentary film about the fights in Cu Chi tunnel…

TDM city’s Youth Union takes part in a journey following the footsteps of Uncle Ho in HCM city

Whilst, Thuan An town’s Youth Union Standing Committee also held a journey on “Youths in Thuan An remembering the testament following Uncle Ho’s footsteps “ at Duc Thanh school relic site in Binh Thuan province’s Phan Thiet city. Accordingly, the delegation offered incense at province-based Ho Chi Minh Museum; visited Duc Thanh school relic site; took part in a talkshow on Uncle Ho’s life and revolutionary cause, thereby educating Youth Union members about the significance and importance of his testament in association with studying and following his ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Also responding to the journey, TDM city’s Youth Union paid a visit to Ho Chi Minh Museum and Reunification Palace in HCM city in order to learn about Uncle Ho’s life and revolutionary cause…As planned, provincial Youth Union will organize a journey on “Youths in Binh Duong remembering the testament following Uncle Ho’s footsteps” to mark the 50^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament, the 60^th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh trail and celebrate the success of the 7^th provincial Women’s Union congress for the 2019-2024 tenure. Under the journey, more than 50 delegates, including outstanding youths in studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings, will visit some addresses relating to President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary cause.

Doan Thi Thuy Phuong, Secretary of Phu Giao district’s Youth Union said: “Being imbuing with advice of Uncle Ho in his testament, we constantly surmounted obstacles, strived to rise up in studying, working and were determined to excel at studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings over the past time, contributing to carrying out tasks on the local socio-economic development…

It is believed that the journey following the footsteps of Uncle Ho is not only “return-to-the root” trips, but also an enlightenment journey for each Youth Union member to study and follow the great example of President Ho Chi Minh.
