Significant programs for the disabled and orphans held

In 2014, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disable People and Orphans organized a variety of significant programs for the local disable children and orphans.

The association in collaboration with relevant agencies provided cataract surgery for 237 blind people with a total expense of nearly VND300mln, surgery on rehabilitation of VND27mln for 27 disable people, heart surgery of more than VND500mln for 15 people with heart disease; built 6 gratitude houses worth VND200mln…

Such these apart, the association continued maintaining many other significant activities such as providing free medical check-ups, medicine; presenting health insurance cards, wheelchairs, bicycles and scholarships to poor pupils, disable children…, thereby contributing to helping the disabled across the province overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
