Singing under the moon

Update: 13-09-2022 | 17:27:34

“Children today - the world tomorrow” is a common saying to affirm the role of children as the future of the country. This year's Mid-Autumn Festival takes place in a state of the new normal. Therefore, the Party, State and everyone else have a lot of love and affection for children, especially children with special and harsh circumstances, children in remote and ethnic minority areas.

The warm Mid-Autumn Festival

Coming to the full moon festivals, we clearly felt the love of the authorities, benefactors and children's art teams. Each program offered a different color, but all had Hang Nga and Cuoi who are very active in joke making to create an exciting atmosphere for the children to enjoy on the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Musical performance in the night of the Full Moon Festival in Ben Cat town

Sharing with us his every time acting Cuoi in the program of Mid-Autumn Festival and scholarships to disadvantaged children in Binh Duong province, actor Chanh Thuan said that he often came early to exchange the acting, and saw the children from the districts, towns and cities coming to attend the program eagerly. That feeling made the artist try harder to bring them true moments of fun. He hopes that the program would attract more and more attention from the society so that he can join hands to take care of and encourage the children to practice and strive to become good children and students.

The atmosphere of the full moon festival at the Workers' Cultural Center in Ben Cat town was bustling with many meaningful activities. The Mid-Autumn Festival at the provincial level was organized on a very large scale to attract the attention of leaders of departments, agencies, mass organizations and local authorities at all levels.

At the festival night, more than 1,500 children from schools and 8 communes and wards of Ben Cat town participated in many interesting and fun activities such as parade of lanterns, folk games, and food. During the tour, they enjoyed the lion and dragon performance, the cultural program of happy full moon festival. They also heard the local leaders read a letter from the President wishing the children the Mid-Autumn Festival. In addition, the Team Council of Ben Cat Town organized a beautiful lantern contest, attracting 47 school units of 2 blocks of primary and secondary schools in the province.

On this occasion, Ben Cat Town gave 940 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to disadvantaged children in 8 communes and wards of the town. The program organizers gave 80 gifts to disadvantaged children in My Phuoc ward and 1,500 gifts to children attending the night.

The joy of childhood

Nguyen Thi Duyen, a student of Phu An Secondary School in Ben Cat town happily said that the mid-autumn festival with friends making lanterns for the town-level competition was really interesting. It is more fun to come to the full moon festival to enjoy many good songs and receive gifts from the Organizing Committee. As for Ngo Thanh Thu, a student at Binh Phu Secondary School in Ben Cat town: "I'm very happy to be able to interact with many new friends, and go to the lantern procession together during the Mid-Autumn Festival. To organize a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival like today, they have had to prepare hard for many days. In return for that love, I will try to study well to be worthy of being a good student and a good grandchild of President Ho Chi Minh to do more good things for the society."

On the occasion of this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, the provincial Children's House organized the program of "Having the full moon festival - Lanterns light up dreams" to offer a large number of children the opportunity to process the lights, break the feast and enjoy many special musical performances by clubs, teams, groups, and classes at the Provincial Children's House. In particular, the program has attractive performances of fairy dance on the moon night, aerobic dance, modern dance of "August Light Procession", drum and trumpet performance, magic shows, etc. Besides, in the program, there were witty stories of the characters in the puppet play about Cuoi going to the moon. The Provincial Children's House presented 18 gifts of VND 300,000 each to the students of the charitable class at Hiep Thanh ward in Thu Dau Mot city.

The autumn moon shines everywhere and the loving embraces, the shared gifts, and the fun cultural programs have contributed to spreading the joyful and warm atmosphere to many children. Hopefully, from today's joy, the children will be more motivated to rise up and strive to study well to join hands to build their homeland and country.
