Binh Duong's new rural construction mission continues, but at a higher level of development, reaching for advanced, model, and intelligent. Rural economy has also developed strongly, crops and livestock are following the direction of high technology application, great economic value. Agricultural production is increasingly large-scale, specialized farming is concentrated. In addition, rural industrial establishments have developed extensively, promoting their potential strengths, products with specific characteristics and enhanced values.

The economic, technical, cultural and social infrastructure is invested synchronously, the living standards of rural people are increasingly improved, from material to spiritual. However, in the overall picture, Binh Duong rural areas need a lot of investment resources to change and develop comprehensively, especially towards the goal of building Binh Duong increasingly civilized, smart, and modern.

Smart villages and then towards smart communes and replication throughout the provivnce is a new goal that Binh Duong has set. Smart villages have set a series of very high criteria in construction, from the level of agricultural production, the application of technology in life, from traffic, energy use, environment to education, healthcare... towards green and sustainable development. Those development ladders of the smart village in Binh Duong may not be realized in a short time, but that direction is completely consistent with the potential and strength of the province.

Binh Duong has implemented the smart city project since 2016 and has achieved initial good results. That project covers many fields of socio-economic life. Building Binh Duong's countryside more and more civilized, smart and modern is also joining hands to fulfill the province's great goals. Smart cities will of course have a mutual impact on smart rural development. Industry, smart and high-quality services will lead to agriculture to raise the level of development and increase value.
