Smart electronic devices donated to disadvantaged people

Early August 26, provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with Bau Bang district, organized a program to donate smart electronic devices to disadvantaged people in the district, helping them participate in the local digital transformation.

In this round, provincial Youth Union donated 113 out of 200 smart electronic devices to disadvantaged people in Bau Bang district, with a total value of nearly VND 230 million. It is known that the district’s allocation target for smart electronic devices is 200 devices, with 113 being distributed in the first round and the remaining devices will continue being distributed in the second round. To date, provincial Youth Union has mobilized and received over 1,000 smart electronic devices to give them for disadvantaged people under the community digital transformation program.

On this occasion, VNPT Ben Cat sponsored and provided personnel to assist with activating official SIM cards and offered one month of free internet service to the local people, with a total cost of over VND 10 million.
