*Kim Oanh Real Estate Joint Stock Company (JSC) has actively got involved in social charity activities. Particularly, the JSC spent more than VND10bln on social charity activities for the sake of the community over the past four years. In 2013 alone, the JSC used nearly VND4bln for building houses of compassion for the poor, supporting provincial Fund for the Poor, awarding scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils…

*TDM city’s Red Cross Societies at all levels effectively implemented many social charity models, namely “Charity rice jar”, “Raising piggybanks”, “Tet for the poor”, “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address”…, contributing to taking good care of the poor, lonely elderly people, orphans and the disabled over the past time. In 2013 alone, they mobilized organizations and individuals to offer financial assistance of more than VND3.89bln for 18,806 needy cases.

So far, they have set up 84 Red Cross youth volunteer squads, 51 voluntary blood donation squads and 14 first-aid motorbike squads. They have also always attached special importance to educating and upholding Vietnamese people’s humanitarian tradition, mobilizing all resources to create favorable conditions for the poor to step by step rise up in life.
