Social resources mobilized for educational development

Upon social resources, Tan Uyen town’s sector of education and training upgraded material facilities at schools with a total expense of more than VND3.3billion in the last academic year. The sector also repaired toilets for pupils and provided schools with learning-teaching equipment.

Additionally, the sector awarded scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils with a total value of more than VND519million, funded by donors and socio-economic organizations. The town’s Study Promotion Society also offered 170 scholarships worth more than VND272million to poor pupils with good academic results.
