Solutions for effective management and operation of budget revenue strengthened

On October 17, the Economic - Budget Committee Supervision Delegation of Binh Duong Provincial People's Council held a conference to collect comments on the draft report on the supervision results on the implementation of Resolution No. 47/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council on the State budget revenue estimate; revenue, expenditure and allocation of local budget in 2024. Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, chaired the meeting.

According to the draft supervision results, as of July 31, 2024, the total state budget revenue in the province was VND 42,471 billion, reaching 65% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 59% of the estimate of the Provincial People's Council; estimated disbursement in 2024 is VND 70,196 billion, reaching 108% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 98% of the adjusted estimate approved by the Provincial People's Council, equal to 101% compared to the same period in 2023. 

Total provincial budget expenditure is 8,616 billion VND, reaching 38% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 37% of the estimate approved by the Provincial People's Council; estimated disbursement in 2024 is 23,386 billion VND, equal to 104% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 100% of the adjusted estimate approved by the Provincial People's Council...

Mr. Loc stated at the conference that while the state budget revenue for 2024 is expected to exceed estimates, there remain numerous difficulties and challenges. Therefore, relevant agencies and units need to focus on leading, operating, and managing budget revenue sources effectively and in accordance with regulations and strengthening solutions to prevent state budget revenue loss... 

In particular, it is necessary to speed up the implementation of the Project on exploiting land resources for basic construction expenditure according to the estimate; have an implementation plan, assign specific responsibilities to each agency and unit in the implementation, to ensure resources for public investment and progress of public investment disbursement in 2024...
