Southern region lottery pays more than VND31,300 billion to the State budget

On October 12, Binh Duong Lottery Company hosted the 131st Southern Regional Lottery Conference. The meeting had the participation of Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

The conference evaluated business performance over the first 9 months of 2023 and proposed solutions for the last 3 months of the year. In the past 9 months, the main targets of lottery companies were all higher than planned and continued to maintain good business performance. Namely, issuance sales increased by 10.96%; consumption sales increased by 14.14% over the same period last year; contributing VND31,356 billion to the State budget, reaching 86.72% of the year's plan. Profit before tax was VND13,121 billion, reaching 90.43% of the year's plan and the average consumption rate of the region reached 98.18%. In recent years, lottery activities in the Southern region in general and Binh Duong Lottery Company in particular have gained steady growth, the planned targets assigned next year are always higher than the previous year, making a positive contribution to social security work, creating revenue to build the country with the goal of "Good for the country - good for the family".

Speaking at the conference, Ha acknowledged and praised the recent results achieved by Binh Duong Lottery Company contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. Ha also hopes that the units would continue to unite, develop achievements, exchange and share difficulties in lottery business activities. Thereby, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of each lottery company in the Southern region to achieve and exceed the targets assigned by the Ministry of Finance; At the same time, together with localities, well implement social security policies, invest in the construction of social welfare projects...
