There are many definitions of happiness and different understandings of happiness for each person. For writers, artists, and journalists, each person's concept of happiness will change over time and they always want to spread happiness to everyone through their daily work.
l Photographer Tran Khanh Hung: Spread happiness through images
Having the opportunity to talk with photographer Tran Khanh Hung, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial Photography Club (belonging to the Provincial Literature and Arts Association), he shared a lot about his own happiness. His current happiness is to have completed an art photo exhibition with the theme "Hometown Spring" at the Traditional House of Thu Dau Mot City.
For this photographer who has been attached to Binh Duong for many years, this exhibition is an opportunity to introduce to the public 78 pieces of 26 photographers about the beauty of spring in Binh Duong and many regions across the country. This is also an activity to create a joyful atmosphere to celebrate the 71st anniversary of Vietnam's Traditional Photography Day (March 15, 1953 - March 15, 2024).
According to photographer Tran Khanh Hung, happiness is simple things surrounding everyday life. Happiness is when planning and completing all tasks in our plan. He said: “To maintain happiness and spread it to everyone, the first thing is to be happy yourself first. From there, positive energy will come to everyone around us!”.
l Singer Thoi Quang Tuan: Bring the values of truth - goodness - beauty to the audience
At many important events in the province and localities, we have seen the appearance of singer Thoi Quang Tuan. With many roles such as singer, "show host", artistic assistant etc., Quang Tuan has brought everyone a lot of sympathy because of his enthusiasm for his chosen job.
For this beloved singer, happiness is simply as having a stable job, and that you and your family are always healthy and peaceful. Health is gold, if you have health you have everything". Besides, happiness is also about sharing, caring and helping those around you to the best of your ability with the spirit of "mutual affection" and "good leaves cover torn leaves"; always live with a good and positive mind according to the concept of "giving is receiving". With this thought, Quang Tuan is always conscious of studying and working with all passion and enthusiasm. He strives to hone his expertise so that he can perform to bring joy to the audience, spreading the values of truth - goodness - beauty in each work to everyone.
l Dance choreographer Le Bao: Make life more beautiful every day
When we asked the question about happiness to choreographer Le Bao, he said that this is also a question that he has regularly asked himself since starting his career. Because according to this young choreographer, each stage will have a different thought about happiness. Before the age of 30, happiness for him was reaching his expectations, or the destination you set in your life. As for the current Le Bao, when he is over 30, he will probably be slower and more introverted. Happiness right now for him is extremely simple, which is seeing the people around him living peacefully and happily.
Whenever he has time, he looks back at himself and becomes calmer in all social relationships, and gives more; always strive, work hard and express himself, but with a more comprehensive, thoughtful and multi-dimensional view. "If you have the same thoughts as me, let's make this life better every day from the smallest things," choreographer Le Bao reminded readers.
l Journalist Ngo Tung Van: True happiness is the harmony
Every time I meet journalist Ngo Tung Van, a colleague I have admired since childhood, I always feel in him a happiness of being a Binh Duong local. This time, he was especially happy when the National Assembly Standing Committee has passed a resolution to establish his hometown, Ben Cat, as a city.
For him, happiness is satisfaction with the surroundings and with oneself, the peace and undisturbedness of one's own life in relationships with society, from spiritual to material. Happiness is knowing how to maintain balance in your thoughts and emotions in the face of the effects of unwanted, sometimes unforeseen, situations. If you want to keep your happiness, don't do anything that affects the happiness of others. If possible, bring happiness to others. Living in harmony, closeness, respect, and affection for everyone is the way to preserve and spread happiness.
“Happiness is also very fragile if we misunderstand it. Happiness can sometimes deceive us if we don't really recognize it. Happiness is both very simple and very complex. Therefore, everyone has their own way to recognize and find happiness. However, true happiness must be harmony between one's own happiness and that of others around you, only then will it last long," journalist Ngo Tung Van shared.
