In recent days, many organizations and individuals have continued to carry out activities to support people in provinces affected by storm No. 3. Beautiful, humane actions have been strongly spread and multiplied...

Gratitude for Kindness

On the morning of September 17, at a relief reception location of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Hanh, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, received a symbolic board of support from businesses sent to people affected by storm No. 3.

Accordingly, BW Industrial Company (Thu Dau Mot City) supported 1 billion VND; Green Chem Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Song Than 3 Industrial Park, Thu Dau Mot City) supported 60 million VND. Representatives of the two enterprises expressed their deep sympathy for the heavy losses and damages suffered by the people in the North during the recent storms and floods; at the same time, they hoped that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee would soon transfer this amount of money to share difficulties with the people who are suffering many difficulties.

On behalf of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Hanh expressed gratitude for the hearts and meaningful contributions of enterprises to compatriots in the North at this time. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee ensures that all supports will be used effectively, for the right purposes, and for the right subjects.

On September 16, teachers and students of Hiep Thanh Primary School (Thu Dau Mot City) organized a donation to help people in provinces affected by storm No. 3. In addition to the total amount of more than 57.3 million VND collected through the donation, the students also wrote letters and drew pictures to encourage and cheer up their friends in areas affected by storms and floods. Each line of writing and drawing, though not perfect, contains the children's love for their fellow countrymen in the North.

On September 16, Tan Uyen City’s Red Cross Society received cash and relief goods worth more than 100 million VND to help people in the North to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. Accordingly, Mr. Huynh Van Tam's family (Ba Dinh Hamlet, Thai Hoa Ward) donated 50 million VND; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nha Hoa, Director of Thien Tan Gaon Vina Company (Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City) donated 500 new clothes (export goods), worth more than 51 million VND.

According to the city's Red Cross, the truck with a variety of goods, such as: rice, instant noodles, biscuits, mineral water, soy sauce, clothes... were sent straight to Lao Cai province. These essential necessities were jointly contributed by the people of Binh Duong and will be given to people in flood-hit areas in Lao Cai province in the next few days.

Together turn towards the people in flood areas

Just a few days after launching, hundreds of tons of essential supplies to help people overcome damage after storms and floods were donated by Binh Duong Trade Unions at all levels, businesses, grassroots unions, and workers. Along with that, the amount of donations through the Provincial Labor Federation's bank account is increasing day by day.

Hundreds of workers at Nam Viet Food and Beverage Joint Stock Company actively pack necessities, food, and beverages to send to people in flood-hit areas in Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, and Phu Tho provinces.

The unity of Binh Duong workers to help the people in the flood-hit areas has spread widely to every factory, grassroots union, and enterprise. The Provincial Labor Confederation has also arranged 15 points to receive relief goods and necessities in all districts and cities to make it most convenient for workers to give support; opened bank accounts for workers, businesses, and grassroots unions to support union members, workers, and people affected by storms and floods in the northern provinces.
