Spreading human love, multiplying warm Tet

Along with other localities in the province, in recent days, all-level autorities, sectors and mass organizations of Bau Bang district have actively implemented many Tet care activities to bring warm joy to every home. Gifts and beautiful community sentiments keep being given, constantly multiplying and spreading for the purpose of ensuring a warm Tet for every home and everyone.

Warm Tet gifts

This year's Tet for Pham Tran Quang Vinh's family in Tru Van Tho commune’s hamlet 1 reduces economic worries. Vinh discovered with myeloid leukemia in December 2023. His family belongs to a difficult household. His parents are small grocery traders at the market. Since Vinh got sick, his mother has given up her job to take care of him at the hospital. Currently, his family is facing many difficulties. All living and medical treatment expenses for him depend on his father's income and the support of the local government and donors.

Bau Bang district’s sectors, mass organizations and  donors actively mobilize and give Tet gifts for the local people with difficult circumstances

Knowing Vinh's situation, in recent days, many mass organizations and local authorities have visited and encouraged his family. Pham Van Phuc, Vinh's father shared: "Our family would like to send our sincere thanks to the local government as well as donors who have always encouraged us during the past time. Thanks to everyone's love, we feel not to be alone in our journey of fighting illness with our child. Everyone's emotions right now are the motivation for my family in the long journey ahead."

In the days leading up to Tet, people with difficult circumstances in Bau Bang district were happy to receive social insurance books and cards from provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Social Insurance Agency and donors. Accordingly, the Organization Board donated 140 social insurance books and 1,000 health insurance cards to the local needy people with a total value of more than VND 284 million. This activity contributed to helping people reduce the burden of medical examination and treatment costs and easily access modern health policies and services when being sick.

This is just one of many activities to promptly support needy people on Tet in Bau Bang district. Many organizations and individuals in the district have actively participated in humanitarian and charitable activities to bring a warm Tet to the poor... Gifts, beautiful feelings are given, constantly multiplied and spread for the purpose of ensuring a warm Tet to every home and everyone.

Spreading love

Spring is gradually creeping into every house and every hamlet on the heroic land of Bau Bang. The atmosphere of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2024 is bustling every day. Throughout the localities of Bau Bang district, activities to take Tet care for people are enthusiastically deployed, bringing warm joy to every home. Nguyen Phu Cuong, Vice-Chairman of Bau Bang district People's Committee said that the work of taking care of Tet for the people is given special attention by the local government. Since the beginning of the 12th lunar month, the district has met and assigned specific tasks to each agency, unit and locality in taking care of Tet for people with the spirit of "Leaving no one behind".

The activities of caring for and supporting the poor during Tet have become a good tradition and have received the attention of all-level authorities, sectors, mass organizations, units, businesses and numerous people. Bau Bang district’s People's Committee has issued a plan to visit and offer gifts to subjects in the district on the occasion of the Tet festival 2024. As planned, the district will implement policies to care for more than 8,000 targeted people, including revolutionary contributors, children with difficult circumstances and workers living away from home with a total amount of more than VND 10.7 billion. Of the total figure, VND 228 million came from the central State budget, VND 7.6 billion from provincial State budget,  more than VND 2.7 billion from the district’s State budget.

Along with seriously implementing the work of taking care of Tet for targeted subjects under the State’s regulations, in order to have more money to support the poor, the district’s Fatherland Front Committee, sectors and mass organizations have launched and mobilized the support of businesses, organizations, donors and the community to join hands in helping the local disadvantaged policy beneficiaries and poor people to celebrate Tet more warmly, happily. Activities to welcome Tet have also been held enthusiastically, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for people.

Leaders of Bau Bang district believe that with compassionate hearts, many humanitarian activities will help the poor and vulnerable people in the district enjoy the nation's traditional Tet with happiness and prosperity”, Mr. Cuong added.
