After nearly two years of implementing the "Uncle Ho's Cultural Space" model in Di An City, all branches and grassroots Party Committees under the City Party Committee, as well as Fatherland Front Committees, agencies, departments, and organizations, have established many "Uncle Ho's Cultural Spaces". These spaces feature a variety of diverse and rich forms, allowing cadres, party members, and the public to visit, explore, and study at headquarters and workplaces.

Small space, big value

In Di An City, the movement of "Uncle Ho's Cultural Space" is thoughtfully developed in various locations such as meeting rooms, headquarters of People's Committees, neighborhood cultural houses, and schools. Each space is tailored to reflect the unique characteristics of its respective agency, unit, or locality. There is no need for extravagance; instead, each area serves as a small but dignified corner that showcases images, famous quotes, and literary works about Uncle Ho, along with the written reflections of community members, union members, and students.

In Tan Binh Ward, Party cells under the Ward Party Committee have opened an "Uncle Ho's Cultural Space" at headquarters, halls, meeting rooms, and workplaces for cadres, party members, and people to visit and study in many diverse forms such as displaying statues and images of President Ho Chi Minh; displaying and exhibiting images, documents, and artifacts about Uncle Ho's revolutionary life; introducing cultural, literary, and artistic products such as books, poems, paintings, etc.; introducing typical examples of "Simple but noble" of the unit in studying and following Uncle Ho to enrich the movement. At the same time, the ward also encouraged cadres, party members, union members, and association members to "hang Uncle Ho's pictures" in a solemn place in their homes to show respect and remember, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

"Uncle Ho's Cultural Space" at Tan Binh Ward Party Committee

Mr. Truong Ngoc Hien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Deputy Head of Executive Board of Tan Thang Ward, said: “We do not follow trends; instead, we focus on true effectiveness. Uncle Ho's cultural space should serve as a place for cadres, party members, and the public to connect with Uncle Ho, understand his teachings, learn from him, and follow his example. Learning from Uncle Ho is not about complex ideas but rather about doing one’s assigned work well, maintaining a simple lifestyle, and showing love and consideration for others...”.

Similarly, at school, students are also closer to the image of Uncle Ho. Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of An Binh B Primary School, said that the "Uncle Ho Cultural Space" at their school is centrally located and features a compact yet thoughtfully arranged layout. It is divided into four areas that create a solemn and intimate atmosphere, aimed at educating cadres, party members, teachers, staff, and students about the ideology, morality, and lifestyle of Uncle Ho. This initiative plays a significant role in promoting the ideological values, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh throughout the school.

Nguyen Ngoc Han, a 5th-grade student, shared: “When I learn about Uncle Ho through real stories, images, documents, and artifacts associated with Uncle Ho in his life and revolutionary activities, I feel like I have been given more motivation to practice, strive to study well, and live a more righteous life.”

Continue to strengthen influence

The initiative of spreading "Uncle Ho's Cultural Space" in Di An City represents a creative and practical approach to studying and embodying Uncle Ho's example. This project serves not only as a cultural initiative but also as a meaningful model for moral education. In this space, Ho Chi Minh's ideology, values, and principles are conveyed through various means, including images, documents, books, and stories about him. Moreover, it is reflected in the daily lives of every cadre, party member, and citizen. Learning from Uncle Ho goes beyond mere remembrance; it is about actively following and applying his teachings in everyday life, down to the smallest details.

Up to now, the whole city has built more than 190 "Uncle Ho's Cultural Spaces"; exhibited more than 1,600 books, paintings, photos, documents, and newspapers about Uncle Ho's revolutionary life and activities; set up 400 Uncle Ho bookcases; published 1,100 articles widely propagating Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality at branches, grassroots Party Committees under the City Party Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, agencies, departments, and organizations.

Thereby, the movement has contributed to raising awareness, creating a clear change in the perception and actions of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in voluntarily and regularly studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, especially educating the younger generation, union members and children; at the same time, constantly improving the leadership capacity of Party committees; building increasingly clean and strong Party cells and organizations; preventing the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle and manifestations of "self-evolution", "self-transformation" and effectively carrying out political tasks, building Di An City to increasingly develop in a civilized and modern direction.
