Spring train brings trade unionists and workers home for Tet

Early January 22, provincial Labor Union organized a send-off ceremony for workers returning to their hometowns in the central and Northern provinces under the “Spring Train” program at Da An Railway Station in Da An city. The event was attended by Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, along with leaders from provincial departments and localities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nhan emphasized that Binh Duong always considers workers living away from home as children of Binh Duong homeland. Over the years, provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee gave priority to improving workers’ lives, with focus on housing, education, healthcare and employment policies.

For the 2025 Tet  festival, the province allocated VND45billion to provide Tet gifts to trade unionists and workers with difficult circumstances. Provincial Trade Unions at all levels set aside over VND270 billion to organize Tet activities for workers. Local authorities also carried out activities to care for workers, especially those facing hardships, illnesses work-related injuries, ensuring that everyone could celebrate Tet.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nhan extended warm wishes to all trade unionists and workers for a safe and joyful Tet with their families. As part of the program, the organizers gave gifts, red envelopes and Tet calendars for about 200 workers on the first Spring Train of 2025.
