Strengthening goods connection for southern localities

At a recent conference to connect supply and demand between Ho Chi Minh city and other localities in 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed the Departments of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh city and localities to monitor and assess people’s demand for goods, especially essential items; take initiative in plans, propose measures to ensure the supply of goods and stabilize the market. They also needed to proactively submit their plans on goods stockpiling to serve people's consumption needs in case of the pandemic, at year-end and Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

The conference absorbed 25 provinces and cities with 500 direct exhibition booths; 20 provinces and cities with 92 virtual reality booths, displaying and introducing their special products, market stabilization products, key products...together with distribution systems and outlets in Ho Chi Minh city.
