Strengthening solidarity among Vietnamese students in Australia

A core group has been set up in preparation for the establishment of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Perth, Australia.  Vietnamese students in AustraliaIts members including Nguyen Duc Doan, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Quach Van An and Bui Bac Dang - all outstanding students at Perth-based universities – made their debut in Perth on March 26. Addressing the ceremony, Vietnamese Consul General Le Viet Duyen praised them for playing a key role in building a common house for Vietnamese students in Perth.The establishment of their association in the near future will help strengthen solidarity among overseas Vietnamese students, and encourage them to uphold Vietnamese culture and traditions, he said.As many as 2,000 Vietnamese students are studying at colleges, universities and vocational training centres in Western Australia.CPV
