Binh Duong University (BDU) has just teamed up with provincial Department of Health to launch a campaign on environmental hygiene, propaganda against dengue fever and foot-and-mouth disease.

There were 78 cases of dengue fever and foot-and-month disease last year, of which 41 were dead, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Health. Hence, the goal of the campaign is to mobilize all forces in the province to prevent the spread of dengue fever and food-and-mouth disease.

At the launching ceremony, more than 150 students from 13 faculties of BDU took part in environmental protection in the facility 2 of the school. They also delivered leaflets with propaganda contents against dengue fever and food-and-mouth disease to the local people.
