Study and talent promotion scholarship fosters dreams

Though material value is not big, the provincial Youth Union for admin agencies bloc’s study and talent promotion scholarship has contributed to encourage study spirit and create impetus for students and pupils, teachers and public servants to promote their talents on all areas.  Students and public servants receive study and talent promotion scholarships.

Doan Kim Trang, the student of furniture design and decoration faculty of Binh Duong Art and Culture School received the study and talent promotion scholarship for her efforts in study. As a poor student, Trang must do many part-time jobs to earn money for her tuition. Despite busy jobs, Trang has still reached good academic results and become a typical unionist involving in all activities of youth union.

“Receiving this scholarship, I am very happy and pledge myself to make greater efforts to please my parents and donors”, Trang said.

Granting the study and talent promotion scholarships is an annual activity of the provincial youth union for admin agencies bloc. The scholarship fund is built on contribution of youths and unionists and students of this bloc.

The scholarship fund’s purpose is to grant scholarships to excellent-but-poor students in a bid to encourage and honor them as well as help them to uphold their talents on areas of scientific research and so on, contributing to the cause of educational development, renewal process.

Nguyen Vo Thanh Thao, vice secretary of the provincial Youth Union for admin agency bloc, said “attaching to the program of “Lighting dreams”, the scholarship granting is a significant activity to encourage poor students to increase trust to soon win their dreams. In addition, the good deed is to establish a young generation with dreams and ambitions”.

In the past year, the provincial Youth Union for admin agency bloc granted 22 scholarships worth VND6.5mil to excellent-but-poor students. On the anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the bloc donated 15 scholarships to underprivileged talented students and 5 public servants who have many technical initiatives.

Additionally, the bloc mobilized donors to grant 80 scholarships worth over VND53mil to excellent-but-poor pupils.
