With bare hands and wounds after the war, Nguyen Tran Khanh as many other veterans adjusted himself to difficult life and started out “teaching the rich to get richer”. “Success does not mean enjoying but encouraging to successors” is all that knowledgeable about Mat Xanh Eco-resort in Tan Dinh hamlet, Tan Uyen district.

 

- What do you think about people talking of your risks when investing into Mat Xanh eco-resort?

- We make ourselves clear that money is made from knowledge and non-stop efforts. And thus, what needs investing will be invested without wastefulness. My family members and co-workers have observed this ever since. As for the resort investment, I could tell you about my fate with my second homeland – the D war base and the Eastern region where I stayed 8 years in battles.

 

I was so bound to the land and the people who supported me as a soldier. And there are plenty of ways to express your love to the homeland. My Mat Xanh resort put my words into action to change life of the poor rural residence. I have once taught the rich to get richer; and thus I should be wiser in earning money.

 

- You talked of “teaching the rich to get richer, when have you start out such a job?

 

- I came back after war and made teaching my job. I was struggling to follow the job and then moved to do business with the State. Scarcity did not stop me believing in life and developing future and I carried on my learning. Learning from school and from work would enable you to tell the difference between theories and practice. And when the country is open up, we established a company in consultancy and technology transfer. After 23 years of working, we have become one of the famous groups in the country, notable for consultancy to Song Be Golf, Dutch lady, and projects in VSIP. In short, hardship and wealth are two sides. If you have belief and determination, our efforts could make changes not only to yourself.

- You are successful through difficulties. Could you share with us how to face difficulties and obstacles?

 

- Nobody keeps failing nor being successful. Therefore, in facing difficulties you should have exact answers to “why” and never lose hope. Mat Xanh resort is launched in the face of economic downturn and money was poured into more important spending. However, the attractiveness of this project has drawn back investors. Actually, nobody could see so far to the father future but preparation will save you from loss and growth and crisis are only two aspects of development. In my success I will not really enjoy it but encourage the successors. And, I will work till the end.
