Support 150 disadvantaged people to go to “Zero-dong market"

On August 24, Red Cross Society of Di An city in collaboration with Tay Thien pagoda in the area held a day of "zero-dong market".

150 disadvantaged people were supported to go to the market this time. They are disabled people selling lottery tickets, and people infected with Agent Orange/dioxin. The total value of support at the market was 60 million VND.

The market was held with many stalls of essential necessities to serve people, such as: rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, seasoning powder, vegetables, blankets... The above necessities were supported by Nun Truong Phap Nhu, Abbot of Tay Thien Pagoda, and other benevolent individuals to share difficulties with needy people, help them have more conditions to improve their lives.
