Binh Duong province is currently undertaking the process of converting functions and relocating enterprises located outside industrial parks (Ips) in the southern part of the province to Ips in the northern part of the province.
The province is currently developing criteria to evaluate and identify enterprises located outside Ips in the southern part of the province that need to convert functions and relocate to industrial parks in the northern part of the province. Enterprises that meet any of the following four criteria are required to relocate: Enterprises that violate the provisions of the Construction Law and Urban Planning Law; enterprises that do not comply with environmental regulations and cannot remedy the issues; enterprises that fail to meet fire safety standards and cannot rectify the situation; enterprises whose locations do not align with the land use planning as outlined in provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
The province is also developing policies to provide support in accordance with legal regulations. These support policies for enterprises will focus on two main groups: Enterprises that are required to relocate and those still meeting operational conditions, but being encouraged to relocate.
