Survey team of National Assembly’s Judiciary Committee work in Binh Duong

On August 1, a survey team of the National Assembly's Judiciary Committee led by Hoang Van Lien, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Judiciary Committee, had a meeting with a number of departments and branches in Binh Duong on the situation and umplementation of ordinance and procedures for considering and deciding to apply administrative handling measures at People's Courts. Receiving the delegation were Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of the provincial National Assembly delegation; and representatives of a number of departments, agencies, police, and two-level People's Courts in the province.

At the meeting, the survey team heard representatives of the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs’ reports on the situation and the implementation of the Ordinance on Order and Procedures for considering and deciding to apply administrative handling measures at the People's Courts.

For the two-level People's Courts of Binh Duong province, in general, the observance of various deadlines by the requesting agency, the petitioner and the court in the process of making, transferring, considering and applying administrative handling measures at the People's Court are implemented in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 09 and relevant legal documents...

At the meeting, the survey team also listened to representatives of a number of units presenting difficulties, problems and recommendations related to the implementation of the Ordinance on the Order and procedures for considering and deciding to apply handling measures. administrative management at the People's Court. Specifically, the problem of identifying addicts, determining the residence place of addicts, and a number of issues related to other central ministries and branches. On that basis, members of the survey team answered each issue and opinion raised by the delegates.
