Swimming contest for nearly 150 needy children

Early August 22, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the 2019 swimming contest for disadvantaged children.

This year’s contest absorbed nearly 150 children with extremely difficult circumstances across the province. They competed in the 10-12 and 13-15 age categories in two events: 100m frog-style swim and 4x50m medley. As a result, the organizers awarded prizes to outstanding individuals and collectives at the contest.

Since 2016, the Divisions of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of districts, towns and TDM city have organized swimming classes free of charge for approximately 5,000 children with extremely difficult circumstances.
