More than VND 7.12 million/person/month is the per capita income of Binh Duong in 2021. With the above figure, Binh Duong is the locality that had the highest per capita income in the country, this is the second consecutive year Binh Duong achieved this impressive figure. Previously, Binh Duong was also declared by the General Statistics Office the locality that had the highest per capita income in the country in 2020, at more than VND7 million.

The above figures partly demonstrated the socio-economic development of Binh Duong not only in the last two years, but also as a result of a long dynamic, creative process with maximum effort to build up a thriving land, the quality of life is increasing. In particular, maintaining the top position of per capita income in 2021 has shown the sustainable development of Binh Duong economy and society, although in 2021 Binh Duong was the pandemic-hit region, every home, every area of socio-economic life was affected badly.

Based on the potential formed after a long journey of opening the door to invite investment, stimulate strong and sustainable economic growth from industry, trade - services to agricultural, rural areas, Binh Duong, despite facing many difficulties during the pandemic period, stands firm and develops. In the Covid-19 pandemic time, especially in peak months of lockdown, Binh Duong made every effort to protect the health of people, workers, from health to daily meals; on the other hand, the province created maximum conditions for enterprises and production facilities to maintain operations by suggesting the safest options to protect jobs and income for employees.

Returning to the "new normal" period, Binh Duong continued its dynamism and acumen, implemented a series of plans to quickly bring the economy back to the development track at a high speed. All of which have led to great success with impressive growth figures on key economic indexes in 2021. In 2021, while many localities were facing diminishing growth, Binh Duong, despite being a epicenter, attained positive growth, a very encouraging result.
