Tan Binh Commune’s Farmer Association to promote high-tech transfer

 Many farmers in Tan Binh Commune has changed their crops to

more valuable crops.

So as to create jobs and improve income of members, executive staff of Tan Binh Commune’s Farmer Association in Di An District has helped farmers to apply achievements of science and technology into their production through training courses.

 During process of economic structuring, agriculture land is narrowing. As the matter of fact, science and technology is considered as key approach to help farmers stabilizing their income from crops. From the first months of the year, the association has offered training courses for 120 members who were trained with techniques of crops and husbandry. Besides, other 30 farmers were instructed to visit models of mushroom and vegetable growing. On the one hand, the association has launched cooperation with Center for Agriculture promotion and plants and crops protection stations in organizing 27 training courses for 1,350 turns of members. Throughout the access points over 1,000 turns of farmers had come for information serving their production.

 To carry out industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural area, the association has instructed farmers to build their own cooperatives of safe vegetable, orchards, and toad and fish rearing, etc. Most of the models mentioned have yielded results and promoted farmers to continue with their crops.

 Meantime, capital offering is also essential to boost up emulation for production and business. Therefore, Social Budget Bank has offered loans under national measures creating jobs to farmers. From the beginning of the year, 36 members have made loans up to VND 575 million which was invested to their production. Other kinds of mutual support have also flourished.
