For many consecutive years, Tan Phuoc Khanh township’s Red Cross Society in Tan Uyen district has well made the function as a bridge between golden hearts and unfortunate people, contributing to enhancing its operational efficiency and movements.

The society has also mobilized donors to build and hand over compassion houses to the poor; visited and presented gifts to the poor…In 2011, the society’s total value for social charity activities was estimated at more than VND500mln.

 

Last Tet, the society mobilized organizations and individuals to present 556 gifts worth more than VND130mln to poor and disable people.

 

The society has also continued maintaining the models of “raising piggy bank”, “charity box”…and received an enthusiastic response from its members and donors.

 

Vo Thi Hoa, chairwoman of Tan Phuoc Khanh township’s Red Cross Society said that the society’s social charity activities have been realized transparently. The society has always received timely reports for needy cases from its affiliates…

 

With many significant achievements done last year, the society’s executive board were considered for the reward and commitment from the central level.
