Tan Uyen absolutely handles polluted scrap trading establishments

Tan Uyen town now has  48 scrap trading establishments, down 19 compared to late 2020, according to the town’s Division of Natural Resources and Environment. Of these, there are 11 establishments causing the loss of urban beauty with the risk of fire and explosion.

In the face of the above situation, the town's People's Committee has directed functional sectors and the People's Committees of communes and wards to continue handling violations and forcibly suspend operation for these 11 establishments (group 1) that do not ensure the local urban beauty and cause environmental pollution ahead of September 30, 2021. For the remaining 37 establishments (group 2), they will be temporarily allowed to operate and must sign a commitment not to cause environmental pollution until the land use planning to 2030 (with integrated scrap area planning) approved. Accordingly, they will be required to complete procedures on land, environment, business... to ensure operation in accordance with regulations.
