Tan Uyen basically reaches criteria of second-class city

Early June 13, Tan Uyen city’s Party Standing Committee held a discussion session to review the three-year implementation of the city’s Party Standing Committee’s Program No.03-Ctr/TU, dated June 22 on building Tan Uyen city into a second-class city ahead of 2025 towards a smart city.

Over the past 3 years, with the focus on leadership and direction of Tan Uyen city’s all-level Party committees, authorities and the active consensus and participation of the people, the local investment in the development of the socio-economic infrastructure system was improved gradually, basically meeting the objectives of the program. Many infrastructure projects were implemented and completed as planned, creating favorable conditions for the local socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the local people...

As of now, Tan Uyen city has achieved 83.26 points under the criteria for classification of second-class cities specified in the the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution No. 26/2022/UBTVQH15 dated September 21, 2022. With the result, Tan Uyen city has basically achieved criteria of a second-class city under the regulations.
