- Tan Uyen City has rich and diverse natural and cultural tourism potential with Dong Nai river landscape, lush fruit gardens and 12 ranked historical and cultural relics, including 1 national level relics and 11 provincial level relics. Every year, Tan Uyen City attracts nearly 40,000 visitors. Tan Uyen city was also chosen by the province as a location to develop river eco-tourism and orchard tourism on Bach Dang island and Thanh Hoi island. - So which is the basis for Tan Uyen City to set up this project?

- The project is built on the basis of a comprehensive assessment of the conditions and potential tourism advantages of Tan Uyen City as well as in accordance with the socio-economic development orientation of Tan Uyen City in the overall development of the province in particular and the Southeast region. The project content includes three main parts: Assess the city's tourism development potential; Tan Uyen City's tourism development orientation to 2025, orientation to 2030; solutions for tourism development in Tan Uyen City.

Accordingly, the project has researched and analyzed the tourism market, tourism products, tourism development space, tourism development resources, tourism human resources, tourism businesses, and management system in Tan Uyen city. From there, the city built a system of perspectives and goals for tourism development; made forecasts and tourism development targets, orient spatial organization, tourism investment, state management and tourism business, develop tourism development solutions suitable to the actual situation.

At the conference, delegates and experts contributed many valuable and enthusiastic opinions, helping to complete the Project "Tourism development of Tan Uyen city until 2025, orientation for 2030".

Specifically, delegates proposed updating the transportation infrastructure system in the project; develop tours connecting with neighboring provinces and cities; shape the product and service system to serve tourism development, clarify that product and service development is the core solution; have mechanisms and policies to create conditions and promote tourism development; consider exploiting the tourism potential of traditional pottery villages and ancient house systems; preserve and develop the Tan Khanh Ba Tra martial arts into a unique sports product; exploit the potential of river tourism to create a highlight, associated with investment in the wharf system to serve tourists; OCOP product development.
