Tan Uyen city: Urban order violations penalized with nearly VND 352 million

In the first six months of 2024, Tan Uyen city has conducted to deal with violations on urban order, addressing street and sidewalk violations with 1,740 sessions involving over 12,800 participants.

As a result, the city discovered and issued administrative penalties for 485 urban order violations, with a total fine amounting to nearly VND 352 million. Additionally, the city handled violations promptly on site, propagandized and obtained commitments from 1,620 cases of encroachment on sidewalks; temporarily confiscated 187 motorbikes, 609 signs and advertisements, 802 other items and 1,078 kg of various fruits and vegetables.

In the future, the city will enhance inspection efforts, continuously monitor and promptly address violations on sidewalk encroachment and road safety corridor, with focus on major streets and illegal market areas. Additionally, the city will intensify propaganda and mobilization of people to improve their compliance with urban order regulations.
