Tan Uyen ensures goods supply in 2022

Nguyen Van Loi, Vice-Chairman of Tan Uyen town’s People's Committee said the town has directed sectors and localities to coordinate with provincial Department of Industry and Trade to focus on stockpiling essential goods and stabilizing prices before, during and after the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2022. This task will continue being deployed in the remaining months of the year. All aim to ensure the supply of goods in the town, avoiding fluctuations that cause market instability, supply shortage. Priority is for high-quality Vietnamese goods in association with the movement of Vietnamese people giving  priority to using Vietnamese goods.

Accordingly, essential commodity groups that need to be stockpiled are rice, sticky rice, noodles, cattle and poultry meat, seafood, poultry eggs, processed foods, vegetables and fruits, sugar, cooking oil, spices (fish sauce, salt, seasoning powder...), milk, petrol, medicine... Commodity groups in the high demand on Tet such as jam, confectionery, wine, beer, beverage...are also under stockpiling.
