Tan Uyen Farmers ‘Association actively gets involved in keeping environmental hygiene

To set achievements in celebration of Party congresses at all levels, Tan Uyen town’s Farmers ‘Association has coordinated with the local authorities, mass organizations to mobilize cadres, members and people to keep environmental hygiene, clear in-field canals, remove illegal advertising boards…

The association also took part in building “model streets” and tending 1,024 green trees for a green-clean and nice environment. The association and its branches also mobilized 19 households to install a lighting system with a total cost of VND33million, bringing the total number of streets with lighting systems to 42 with a total cost of VND1.5billion.

In addition, the association mobilized members to donate land, contribute money and working days to the local rural traffic infrastructure construction. As a result, 19 members of the association donated 203 square meters of land and contributed 41 working days in this field.
