Update: 27-09-2011 | 00:00:00

Contributing to take the Party’s resolutions into real life, Tan Uyen district farmers have over years paid attention to mechanization of agricultural production and spurred the process stronger.

An active mechanization

Diversity of Tan Uyen agricultural industry has been witnessed by appearance of various kinds of short-term and long-term trees and animal husbandry models. This creates a harmonic development for the local agricultural structure.

Agricultural mechanization in Tan Uyen has upheld initial efficiency.

The locality now has short-term trees including rice, vegetables with the area of over 7,000ha and perennials including rubber, grapefruit, orange with area of nearly 26,000ha. In addition, the district has developed animal husbandry sector sharply.

As of the end of 2010, the entire district had 195 farmsteads with the total area of about 2,590ha. The farmsteads’ establishment is a basic factor for local farmers to mechanize agriculture.

The local farmers have entirely mechanized their production by plough machine, automatic watering facility and so on.

Improvement of knowledge

The local mechanization has showed remarkable changes including a sharp increase of productivity and quality. At present, Tan Uyen has launched some projects of mechanization at localities. They projects include building of watering stations for orchards at Hieu Liem commune.

To reach the results, local farmers joined in training classes and applied advanced models of production. Possibly speaking, the process of modern production will be essential factor in the locality in the coming time. In addition, establishment of agricultural cooperatives is also an effective measure for agricultural production mechanization on the large scale.
