The whole district now has 117 farmsteads, up 5 compared to the corresponding period of 2012. Among them, there are 83 cultivation farmsteads, 33 animal husbandry farmsteads and 1 fishery farmstead with 1,800 hectares in total. Some farmsteads have so far reached an economic value of more than VND500mln/hectare/year.

Currently, some large-scale farmsteads in Tan Uyen district are changing to the model of  “farm economy in association with ecological tourism”. The farmsteads of Doan Minh Chien and Nguyen Thi Phuong in Tan Dinh communes are typical examples of the above development trend.
