Tan Uyen’s models on fire prevention and fighting meet local requirements

Early October 3, a supervision delegation of provincial People's Council's Legal Department, led by Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Head of the Department, worked with the People's Committee of Tan Uyen city on preventing and combating crime, social evils and building up a movement of “All people protecting national security”.

The city has so far had 12 fire prevention and fighting squads under the civil defense force in 12 communes and wards, 2,420 grassroots fire protection squads with more than 29,060 members, 5 specialized fire protection squads in 2 industrial parks and 3 industrial compounds. In addition, the city is now home to more than 70 fire safety and prevention groups, more than 40 public fire fighting points, a model of "Safe residential area for security, order and fire prevention-fighting" in the Biconsi Riverside housing area, 4 "Mobile anti-fire squad" models. They have met the local practical requirements and tasks.

At the working session, members of the supervision delegation asked for the local authorities to further clarify a number of contents on mobilization of enterprises with high risks of fire and explosion to move to industrial parks; policies to support grassroots fire prevention and fighting forces, safe models on fire prevention and fighting ...
