Tan Uyen district’s Center for Culture-Information and Sports has just kicked off the district’s traditional martial art championships in celebration of Party and Lunar New Year 2014.

The tournament absorbed nearly 70 martial artists from 10 clubs in Tan Uyen district’s communes of Vinh Tan, Thai Hoa, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Lac An, Hieu Liem, Binh My, Dat Cuoc, Tan Phuoc Khanh township and the club of the district’s sporting event hall. At the tournament, they competed in two events: combat and performance.

This was a chance for the local martial artists to improve their skills while helping the locality to sort out outstanding martial artists to attend the 4th provincial Sports Festival in the coming time.
