On hearing that Tan Uyen is about to become a city, not only locals but also friends and tourists are delighted. Talking with Binh Duong writers and artists, we had the opportunity to listen to congratulations on Tan Uyen with feelings about the memories in the compositions about the future city.

Formerly a teacher at Tan Uyen High School 2 (now Tan Phuoc Khanh High School), musician Vo Dong Dien is still emotional about the land and Tan Uyen people. These feelings were successfully conveyed by him in his songs.

Not only had it achieved victories in the resistance wars against foreign invaders, Tan Uyen was also resilient in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic. It was the days when Tan Uyen was coded red in so much pain and loss, many kind-hearted people from all over got together to protect people during a dangerous pandemic. In order to encourage people of all walks of life to join hands to fight the epidemic, Pham Thanh Phong wrote an inspiring song. Besides, he also wrote the song to be awarded the second prize in the campaign to write songs about Tan Uyen town in 2021.

Possessing the peaceful beauty of a peaceful village, with rivers winding around tree-laden orchards and immense rice fields, Tan Uyen becomes a poetic inspiration for poets. To the poet Trang Khuyet, Tan Uyen is attributed to the scent of grapefruit mixed with leaves, the season of love, and the season of ripe pomelos.

The image of Bach Dang pomelo is also the poetic quality that makes the authors imbue much love in each composition about Tan Uyen. The image prompted retired teacher Vo Thi Nhan to hastily compose a few lines of poetry in order to save the memories of her visit to this green island. For Vo Thi Nhan, Tan Uyen is also the land of people who are good farmers very diligent in their jobs with sweat permeating the countryside and the essence of the homeland in the poem.

According to the sharing of writers and artists, anyone who comes to Tan Uyen cannot forget the beauty and grace of the land and people. Therefore, the number of works written about Tan Uyen is also increasing day by day as to save the memories of a visit or to pay tribute to the heroic and elite people who have overcome tremendous hardship to cultivate for the new land to add good fragrance or a peaceful land to the village.
