To create stimulus from traffic infrastructure

According to Doan Hong Tuoi, People's Committee Chairman of Tan Uyen Town, the town has been ready for class-two urban area. From the available resources, Tan Uyen continues to invest in construction, aims to become urban services - industry - transportation hub with modern infrastructure, good and sustainable living environment. In particular, the industry will develop based on modernization of machinery, advanced scientific technological application, promote its role in socio-economic development of the locality and the province.

Tan Uyen Town continues to invest in the construction of urban infrastructure, prioritize investment in the main transportation routes connecting with the northeast, southwest regions, and neighboring cities, enhance investment in building new development areas to form functional areas for the town. Doan Hong Tuoi said: "The area of special interest to Tan Uyen is the planning of transport system, technical infrastructure system and regional and inter-regional connectivity. Resources assembled to stimulate investment in socio-economic infrastructure in the direction of modernization, creating incentives for development. In addition, Tan Uyen Town also intensified investment attraction, call on investors in trade - service types and the formation of new civilized and modern urban centers".

From now until 2025, the town will focus on a number of fundamental infrastructure projects that have a great impact on the socio-economic development of the town, such as Belt Road 4, Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway, Thanh Phuoc Port, DT742, DT747A Avenues, Bach Dang 2 Bridge, district inner roads... In addition, the public land fund will be used to build technical infrastructure projects, address social security issues, and improve living standards of urban population, ensuring the criteria of class-two urban area. Water transport focuses on developing and expanding Thanh Phuoc port (phase 2), investing in the construction of Thai Hoa port, Vinh Tan ICD, building wharves in Bach Dang and Thanh Hoi for ecotourism and river transportation...

To form a central urban area on the basis of the existing Uyen Hung ward, taking the town center as the center for spreading development through the main urban transport routes, continuing to develop trade - services, finance - banking, culture, education, entertainment... The residential area includes the existing residential area, and new urban development area in the area of Rach Tre stream intersected with DT746B road. The administrative works of Tan Uyen Town are still concentrated in the central area of Uyen Hung Ward.

“In the future, the area bordering Dong Nai River to the southeast is Thanh Phuoc port, which will connect with Thai Hoa port to form a port urban area and logistics services for industrial parks of Binh Duong and surrounding areas of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai province. The regional center is located at the intersection of DT747A road and the regional main road connecting with Tan Binh urban area of Di An city, which will develop a regional-level commerce- service area, logistics services arranged on both sides of the road to Thanh Phuoc port...", Tuoi said about the immediate directions.

Smart modernisation of infrastructure

The town has been mobilizing resources inside and outside the locality, effectively exploiting the potentials and advantages of its position for economic development to achieve high and sustainable growth rates; determines to solve social problems and guarantees political stability and security, social order and safety.

Le Duy Hau, Head of Urban Management Office of the town, said that for sustainable development of infrastructure, the town is currently implementing the project of strengthening and renovating Cai stream which is the main drainage system of the town and the eastern area of the province. The next stage will be investing in renovating, upgrading and solidifying Cai stream, and renovating the drainage of main roads of the town.

Priority will be given to the implementation of technical trenches for power cable and telecommunication underground cable systems. The town has been putting cable TV network underground together with the underground telecommunication cable network. The process of underground implementation is executed at the same time with the construction of infrastructure (transport, urban, construction...) in the area. Underground in the direction of common use of infrastructure among enterprises and industries. The electricity sector develops the power supply system in a synchronous and modern way to meet the requirements of domestic and production electricity in the town, in accordance with the power development planning scheme of Binh Duong province in the period 2016 - 2025.
