Tan Uyen town Association of Veterans offer over VND 40 billion of mutual support for economic development

Implementing the movement of "Veterans emulating household economic development and helping one another reduce poverty and get rich legitimately", Tan Uyen town Association of Veterans has regularly maintained loan programs from the Bank for Social policies, social funds etc. to help members borrow money to do business and improve their lives. In 2021, the association disbursed more than VND 40 billion to 912 members in loans. In addition, the Association also mobilized to help one another with trees, seeds, and labor days to help members in difficulties to do business and develop their household economy at an amount of over VND 1.1 billion.

In particular, the association has built many effective models to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style such as civilized lifestyle, "supporting poor students to go to school", close to the members, and helping the members, branch honor. The Association of Veterans at all levels in the town have modeled and acted as the core of propaganda to mobilize people to actively donate land, work days, and voluntarily clear ground for the implementation of projects.

In the coming time, the town's Association of Veterans will continue to encourage members to uphold and promote the nature and tradition of President Ho Chi Minh’s soldiers, building an increasingly clean and strong association to regularly coordinate with agencies and mass organizations to well implement movements and campaigns in the locality with high efficiency; to promote the movement of emulation and development of household economy, unite to help one another reduce poverty and get rich legitimately, contributing to improvement of the material and spiritual life of members.
