Tan Uyen Town holds the 51st “Zero-Dong” market to supports 300 needy people

On April 18, Red Cross Society of Tan Uyen City held a "Zero-Dong Market" in the second quarter of 2023 to provide necessities for disadvantaged people in the area.

To organize the market, the City Red Cross mobilized donations of members of affiliated charity clubs, branches, and benefactors to give 170 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, including rice, sugar, instant noodles, monosodium glutamate, cooking oil, fish sauce, vegetables and fruits, household appliances, etc. to the blind, disadvantaged households, and disadvantaged workers in wards of Tan Hiep, Uyen Hung, Khanh Binh, Hoi Nghia, and Bach Dang communes. The total value of donated goods was 170 million VND.

On this occasion, Provincial Red Cross awarded 80 million VND to the City Red Cross to build a house for disadvantaged households in the area and supported goods worth 20 million VND.
