Tan Uyen Town sets up mobile medical station in Phu Chanh industrial cluster

Doan Hong Tuoi, Chairman of People's Committee of Tan Uyen Town, signed a decision to establish a mobile medical station at Phu Chanh Industrial Complex (Station No. 2).

The mobile medical station has 13 workers, 2 doctors, 1 physician and management board, volunteers, security guards, is fully equipped with machines and logistics.

The station's function is to monitor and manage suspected Covid-19 patients, assess the risk level of infection, provide on-site treatment to help businesses sustain operations, be ready for the new normal and live together safely with Covid-19; implement the plan to prevent control the disease when a business has infected cases; conduct testing, vaccination, periodical health check, communication information on Covid-19 prevention control. Simultaneously, the station examines and treats common diseases and chronic diseases; provides periodic health check for people in the area.

* On the morning of Sep 20, Tan Uyen Town Medical Center officially put into use a modern automatic PCR testing system branded Alinity M of TherMo (USA). This is an automatic Covid-19 testing system, capable of performing many PCR test samples at the same time, shortening the time and manpower to perform SARS-CoV-2 virus testing.

The system has a high capacity of about 1,200 samples within 24 hours. Duration of result returning is about 3 hours, much shorter than the previous old process. In particular, this automatic PCR test system is established with a priority process for urgent samples, which can be performed at any time without waiting or affecting the process of the machine operation. The automatic PCR testing machine system will improve testing capacity, quickly detect samples positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, support screening, classify F0s at medical facilities, contributing to early disease control and control.
