Tan Uyen town shows efforts to take care of AO victims

Tan Uyen town currently has 43 war resistance activists and children of resistance activists infected with Agent Orange/dioxin as a result of the war and are receiving preferential monthly allowances. In the past time, Tan Uyen town has implemented well the care and support of Agent Orange victims.

Specifically, the town has paid a monthly preferential allowance to 43 victims with a total amount of more than VND 63 million and additional support according to Resolution No. 08/2018/NQ-HDND of the provincial People's Council with the total actual budget. From the beginning of 2019, more than VND 246 million has been paid. On the occasion of holidays and New Year, the Division of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the town coordinated with the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in the province to visit and give gifts to 100% of Agent Orange/dioxin victims in the town at the amount of VND 50 million year.
